Are You In Need Of Financial Assistance For Services and Supports?

If your personal resources are limited, there are government-funded programs available for persons with low to moderate income. You will have to apply for these programs and your income and resources will be reviewed to determine what assistance you may receive.

Medical Assistance (also known as Medicaid) is a program that covers many types of long term services and supports for persons of all ages. If you qualify, Medicaid can pay for services you receive in your home and community, in a residential setting, including personal care homes and domiciliary care homes, and in nursing facilities. You may apply for Medical Assistance by contacting the County Assistance Office in the county where you live.

If you are age 60 or older, contact the Area Agency on Aging in your area to receive information about the special programs to help pay for services in your home or at locations in your community

If you are under age 60, contact the Center for Independent Living or Disability Enrollment Agency in your area for more information.
